My MP3 Player

Since I'm too cheap to buy a nice Ipod, I have a $20 MP3 player I bought on ebay. Every day I load it with music and podcasts and head out the door. I also listen to a lot audio-books as I run. It motivates me to get out the door.

Coach Bernhisel

My name is John Bernhisel. I have been a runner for the past 35 years and a coach for the past 20 years. As a runner I have won events ranging from 1 mile to 50 miles. As a coach I have led many athletes to state championships. Most recently I have begun to work with adults runners who need extra advice and motivation to achieve thier goals.

My coaching is philosophy is doing more with less. I know how busy athletes are today. Families, work, church and a thousand other things fill our lives. If you still choose to run in spite your hectic lifestyle it is because you love running and the great feeling it gives you. I want to help you acheive your running goals without checking out of the real world.
